Spain won against Argentina 1-0 with Ferran Torres as their scorer in the final match played on 19th July 2026.

Spain was our second favourite team after Argentina. The sad thing for Argentina fans is that Messi has retired. This was my first Football World Cup that I followed. After Messi, my favourite player is Yamal, so I am glad that it was at least Spain that won, and not France.

Artist Tayo Ricci made a lot of small songs which had the same melody which went like ‘World cup – everybody jump’ which became a viral meme. Sweden had that song, but they LOST against France 3-0.

I collected Panini stickers during this World Cup with my Dad. FIFA is going to end its partnership with Panini after the 2034 World Cup, which would be sad.
